"Hamstrings Part III." Nederlands, english below. 😖 Overbelast, een kleine scheur in de hamstring. De oorzaak is een te frequente, en te zwate krachttraining voor een hardloper. Als morgen mijn laatste loop voor de Zevenheuvelenloop goed gaat, mag ik zondag lopen! Hoe verder hierna? Lees in blog #linkinbio 😖 - I went to visit a sport masseur which is a marathon and ultra runner himself. I got a bunch of advices for my upcoming half and the complete marathon end of May. The hamstring does not look good. It is full of knots, probably there is a small tear in the hamstring. I did to much lifting weights and to heavy and I should not do this anymore. I become a lifter, or a distance runner. You cannot become both and I choose running for 100%. I can run the Seven Hills run (Zevenheuvelenloop) next Sunday, if my running tomorrow on the last training goes good. I need to run slow and not go for a PR. "Hamstrings Part 2". Nederlands, English below. 😓 Vandaag ging het hardlopen best goed. Ik liep 11 km, waaronder een zeer snelle 1000m. Toch heb ik meer last tijdens een snel tempo. En ik heb waarschijnlijk een diagnose. Lees meer in mijn blog #linkinbio 😓 - I went running today and in total I ran an 11 km. Most of it slow, which is not that painfully as hard. But I manage to run a fast 1000m. I still feel my hamstrings is not over yet, but it is way better than it was before. A friend of mine ask a good friend of him, which is an physiotherapist. He thinks I am run-down, my hamstrings are over tired, and probably it can keep themselves warm. I am going to keep rest next week and I will not go to the gym until the end of my holiday. Hamstring injury? Nederlands, English below. đŸ˜Ŗ Ik heb erg veel last van mijn hamstrings. Vorig jaar had ik ook hetzelfde, wat uitmondde in een serieuze pees ontsteking in mijn heup. Hoe kan dit een tweede keer ontstaan? Lees het in mijn blog #linkinbio đŸ˜Ŗ I am afraid I have a hamstring injury. Previous year, I did have it too, leading into a heavy tendon inflammation in my hip. I went to the fysio, but they never saw this injury. I recovered, and restarted lifting in September. Slowly I felt that my hamstring could not recover als smooth. However, the last 3 weeks I do have more pain, even in my left hip. My trainer agree that I used the wrong program and I should not lift that heavy. It can cause injuries. And one is returning. I do have an medical appointment on Monday to check it. "Lifting". English below. Ik heb het idee dat ik teveel ballen omhoog hou. Mijn lichaam is op geraakt. Ik kan niet meer leven als een kracht sporter en duur atleet in ÊÊn. Ik eet, sport en gedraag me als een kracht atleet. Ondertussen ren ik, snack ik, en droom ik als een duur atleet. Ik ben op geraakt, ook mentaal. Altijd het innerlijk gevecht over voeding en een perfect Instagram dames lijfje met zichtbare spieren. Op advies van mijn looptrainer moest ik een keuze maken. Krachttraining of lang afstand hardlopen. Ik koos voor hardlopen. Meer uitleg in #linkinbio - I feel I am tired, in my body and soul. I cannot live anymore as a strength and durance athlete in one body. I eat, I lift and behave as a strength athlete. And I run, I snack and dream as a durance athlete. I feel I can't be both. I hate the struggle about food, The perfect Instagram ladies shapes with perfect muscle toning. My running trainer told me I had to choice just one discipline: become a strength athlete or a durance athlete. Signed in for the: Wisent Winter Trail 16 km 31 December 2017. Starting in early 2018 with my marathon schedule, I could end 2017 with the best thing do do? Going for a run! For a long run. The Wisent Trail is a well know Trail run in the Netherlands. I decide to do the 16 km, the first 3k does have 6 climb which is the hardest part of the route. The 3 km ends with a jump over a small water stream, quickly followed by a single track including with a heavy climb and reaching the 4th km. The other 11 km a lot of slight slopes, ATB tracks, single tracks and some climbs. The last kilometre is a ATB track with lose sand and a heavy climb.
